Bai Jiao

  • Bai Jiao, courtesy name was Yuan Xiang, art name was Xu Ru, born in Jinshan Shanghai, a calligrapher. He was born in family of intellectuals, was a member and deputy chief of secretariat of the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy, member of Shanghai branch of the Chinese Artists Association, member of Shanghai Chinese Calligraphy and Seal Carving Research Association, painter and calligrapher of the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy.

    • Wu Manqing

      Wu Manqing was born in Dongyang, Zhejiang. He specializes in landscape paintings. He can feel the style of Ishida, Shitao and Shiki. He is also a collector with a wealth of works.

    • Wu Qinmu

      Wu Qimu, courtesy name Qimu, was one of the traditional painters who made significant contributions to the art world in the 20th century. He excelled in painting flowers and birds, figures, and landscapes. By studying and emulating the works of ancient masters, he integrated techniques from the Four Wangs, the Wu School, the Four Masters of the Yuan Dynasty, Zhao Mengfu, the Four Monks, and Gong Banqian into his own unique style.

      Ying Yeping likes painting, he had been painting landscape paintings since the age of 16. At first, he learned from Wang Shigu and Wang Jian, then he learned from Shi Tao after. He became a professor of China art School and a editing team vice-chief of Shanghai people art publisher in 1949, a teacher at Shanghai art School in 1960, a professor of Shanghai University art school in 1983. He was good at calligraphy. He worked as a managing director of Shanghai art association, an honorable director of Shanghai calligraphers’ association and a painter of Shanghai Chinese painting institute.

    • Shen Zicheng

      Shen Zicheng, art name is Ting wa weng. He was good at painting landscape and portraits.

    • Tang Yun

      Tang Yun (1910-1993), courtesy name Xiachen, art names Yaocheng, Yaochen, and Yaoweng, served as Vice Chairman of the Shanghai Branch of the China Artists Association, Vice President, Acting President, and Honorary President of the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy.

    • Wang Fu'an

      Wang Fu’an, courtesy name was Wei Ji, art name was Fu An, Wei Ji, Qu Hu, Yin Yong, Shi Nu, Luosha Jiangmin. After the age of 70 he changed his art name to Chimo Laoren.

    • Feng Chaoran

      Feng Chaoran (1882-1954), courtesy name was Chaoran, art name was Di Ge, born in Wujin Jiangsu. He was good at Chinese painting and calligraphy. Initially, he often painted women, and later, many of his works had landscapes, flowers, trees, were painted powerfully and attractively.
