    • Ning Dizhong

      Ning Dizhong, the original name is Ning Kun, born in Beijing Miyun. Graduated from the Political Science Department of China University. He likes Chinese painting since his childhood, learned flower-and-bird and landscape painting from Wang Xinjing, also learned portrait from figure painters Lu Hongnian, Chen Yuandu and Xu Yansun at the same time and studied landscape under Guo Chuanzhang.       Pu Jin (1893-1966), of the Manchu ethnic group, with the surname Aisin Gioro, courtesy name Xuezhai, and pen names Nanshi, Suiyuan, Leshan, Songfeng Zhuren, and Qintu, was born in Beijing. His art names were Yiqingtang and Songfeng Caotang. Influenced by his family, he studied calligraphy and painting from a young age.

      Chen Dingshen (1897-1987), born in Hangzhou. name is Qu, courtesy name is Dieye, Xiaodie, Zuixingxuan. Changed his courtesy name to Dingshan when he was over 40years old.       Zhao Zhiqian, courtesy name was Yi Fu, art name was Leng Jun, later he changed to Hui Shu. He was born in Guiji Zhejiang (now Shaoxing), a prominent calligrapher, painter, and seal carving artist of the Qing Dynasty. He was a representative of the New Zhe School, and together with Ren Bonian and Wu Changshuo as “the three great painters of the late QingDynasty”.

    • Ding Yanyong

      Ding Yanyong was born in Maoming, Hongdong. He moved to Hongkong in 1949, He taught Chinese painting at The Chinese University of Hongkong for life. He often held exhibition world wide and took a place at others exhibitions. He learned western painting in childhood, he started learning Chinese painting after 1929, he also wrote about seal craving and art theory. After his death, his exhibitions were held in Hongkong and also, established “Ding Yanyong Academic Achievement Award” and “Ding Yanyong art Award”. He has published his art books and it has in French version as well.

    • Luo Zhenyu

      Luo Zhenyu, courtesy name was Shu Yan, art name was Xue Tang and Zhensong Laoren, born in Shangyu Zhejiang. He was good at seal script, clerical script, regular script and semi-cursive script, and he was the first person to write oracle bone script in calligraphy. He made some contributions, such as preserving emperor documents, researching and dissemination of oracle bone scripts in the Yin Ruins, compiling Dunhuang and Tang manuscripts, and researching Han and Jin Mokkan (wooden tablets).

    • Pu Zuo

      During his lifetime, Wang Chengxi served as a Professor in the Department of Traditional Chinese Painting at Tianjin Academy of Fine Arts, a Member of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), and a Member of the Tianjin Committee of the CPPCC.
