Feng Chaoran

• Feng Chaoran (1882-1954), courtesy name was Chaoran, art name was Di Ge, born in Wujin Jiangsu. He was good at Chinese painting and calligraphy. Initially, he often painted women, and later, many of his works had landscapes, flowers, trees, were painted powerfully and attractively.

  • Zhang Daqian

    Zhang Daqian, courtesy name Ji Yuan, and Buddhist name Daqian, was a renowned Chinese modern artist born in Neijiang, Sichuan, with ancestral roots in Panyu, Guangdong. His reputation in poetry, calligraphy, and painting, alongside Qi Baishi and Pu Xinyu, earned him the titles “Southern Zhang, Northern Qi” and “Southern Zhang, Northern Pu.” Together with Huang Junbi and Pu Xinyu, he was also known as one of the "Three Masters Crossing the Sea."

    Yi Lixun (1856–1942), whose courtesy name was Xiji (熙績) and whose pseudonyms included Junzhai (峻齋) and Shiqin, was also known by the title Shiqin Laoren (石琴老人) and Shiqin Guanzhu (石琴館主). He was born in the 6th year of the Xianfeng reign (1856) during the Qing Dynasty in Fujian Ninghua, and he was a descendant of the prominent official Yi Bingxiu (伊秉綬).
