Xiao tui'an

  • Xiao Tui’an, art name was Tui An, Han Chan and Zuisong Laoren, born in Changshu Jiangsu. In his later years he moved to Suzhou. In his youth he lived in Shanghai and taught at Chengdong Women’s School and Aiguo Women’s Scool.

    • Shang Shengbo

      Shang Shengbo, named Yanzhi, styled Shengbo (using his style as his name), and known by the art name Anlu, was from Zhejiang. In the early Republic of China period, he maintained close relationships in Shanghai with prominent painters such as Wu Changshuo, Wang Yiting, and Ni Mogen. He excelled in painting flowers and birds, and insects, and occasionally painted animals and figures. His brushwork was pure and elegant, capturing the spirit of the Ming masters.
