Limited-edition pair tickets are available while supplies last. Each set includes two tickets, which may be used separately.

【Exhibition Overview】

This exhibition presents approximately 200 works by Utagawa Kuniyoshi, arranged into six thematic sections that showcase the remarkable breadth of his artistic achievements. Alongside celebrated masterpieces such as The Ghost of Takiyasha and the Skeleton Spectre (Sōma no Furudairi), Looks Fierce but Has a Kind Heart, and Cats Suggested by the Fifty-three Stations of the Tōkaidō, visitors will encounter numerous works that fully demonstrate Kuniyoshi's extraordinary imagination and creative genius. Through accessible commentary, the exhibition invites audiences to explore Kuniyoshi's vibrant and entertaining world while gaining insight into the everyday life and culture of Edo-period Japan. Just as his works captivated the people of Edo, Kuniyoshi's unparalleled visual storytelling continues to inspire and delight audiences today.
