【Overview】
This exhibition presents a selection of important collections in an omnibus format, including the Shokei Collection, centered on tea utensils, most of which will be exhibited for the first time; the Irie Masanobu Collection, focused on Chinese ceramic drinking vessels and returning to public view after a long interval; the Hakurouro Collection, comprising Chinese ceramics; the Unno Nobuyoshi Collection, featuring Chinese ceramic tomb objects such as human figures, animals, and architectural models; and the Suzuki Masao Collection, consisting of works and archival materials formerly owned by Asakawa Noritaka, a ceramics researcher who introduced the beauty of Korean ceramics to Japan.
