Junichi Nakahara's 111th Anniversary

Introduce: On August 15, 1946, exactly one year after the end of the war, Junichi Nakahara (1913-1983) launched the magazine "Soreiyu," of which he served as editor-in-chief, marking the beginning of his diverse career as a multi-creator that extended beyond the realms of fashion, interior design, magazine editing, and illustration.

To commemorate the 111th anniversary of Nakahara's birth, this exhibition will showcase the full spectrum of his versatile creations, including his work in magazines such as "Soreiyu," "Himawari," "Junior Soreiyu," and "Onna no Heya," as well as his paintings and sculptures produced as an artist.
