作者介紹：謝庭循，名德環，也單稱環，以字行，號夢吟、樂靜。浙江省永嘉鶴陽人，是謝靈運的後裔。父時中，字必達，號清趣，工畫，誥贈武德將軍、錦衣衛千戶。庭循幼承家學，多才多藝，時人稱為詩、書、畫"三絕"。
