  dated, signed and inscribed "To Yoshikichi Shimamoto." on the reverse
  accompanied by a certification by the artist's family
  SHIMAMOTO SHOZO, contemporary artist, born in Osaka. He produced "Breaking Open the Object" in which he filled glass bottles with paint and shattered them on an upstretched canvas beneath him. Also he performed to drop paint from a helicopter.
