  Inscription: In the second month of the year Wu-Chen, at the studio of Wang Xianke in Shanghai.
  Seals: "Wang Xian's Seal of Trust," "Qizhi"
  Author Introduction: Wang Gewei, originally named Nengxian, later changed to Xian, with the courtesy name Qizhi and the pseudonym Gewei, by which he is widely known. He had several studio names, including "Shuangtu Ge," "Zanxian Lou," and "Qianshuo Zhi Tang." His ancestral home is in Haimen District, Nantong City, Jiangsu Province. Wang is a renowned modern calligrapher, painter, seal carver, and art educator.
