Author Introduction: Wu Changshuo, originally named Jun, also known as Junqing, with the courtesy name Changshuo, and the pseudonyms Cangshi and Cangshi. He was born in Zhuangwu Village, Xiaofeng County, Zhejiang Province. A renowned Chinese painter, calligrapher, and seal carver during the late Qing and Republican periods, Wu was a representative of the "Houhai School" and the first president of the Xiling Seal Society in Hangzhou. He was one of the three main figures of the "New Zhejiang School" alongside Li Liangyu and Zhao Zhiqian. Wu, along with Ren Bonian, Pu Hua, and Xu Gu, was considered one of the "Four Great Masters of the Late Qing Hai School."
