Zhu Liangcai, whose other name is Zi, was born in Wu County, Jiangsu. He studied under Qian Hui'an, a Haipa figure painter of the late Qing dynasty. He specializes in calligraphy and portraiture. He is also good at painting flowers and landscapes.
