Zeng Xi

• Zeng Xi, courtesy name Ziji, art name Nongran, was born in Hengyang, Hunan Province. He was a renowned educator, painter, calligrapher, connoisseur, and collector during the late Qing Dynasty and early Republic of China. He was a leading figure in the modern Shanghai School of painting and calligraphy. Along with Wu Changshuo, Shen Zengzhi, and Li Ruiqing, he was known as one of the "Four Great Calligraphers of the Early Republic of China."

    Wang Yiting, courtesy name is Yiting, art name is Bai longshan ren, Meihua guan zhu, Hai Yunshan zhu deng and so on. He was born in Qingpu, Shanghai. He is a famous artist and Comprador in the last years of Qing dynasty, the early years of Republic of China. He was a buddhist for life. He learned painting from Xu Xiaocang when he was young.
