Cao Rulin
Cao Rulin (1877-1966), courtesy name Runtian, was a high-ranking official in the early Republic of China and the leader of the New Communications Clique. Before the May Fourth Movement, he served as Minister of Transportation, Minister of Finance, and General Manager of the Bank of Communications. He was also a politician in the Beiyang Government (Beijing Government).

Shi Yunyu
Shi Yunyu (1755-1837), courtesy name Zhiru, pen names Zhuotang, Duxue Laoren (The Old Man of Independent Study), and Huayun Anzhuren (Master of the Flower Rhythm Studio), was a political figure and top scholar from the Qing Dynasty. He was born in 1755 in Wu County, Jiangsu. In the 55th year of the Qianlong reign (1790), he won the top honor in the imperial examination, the "Zhuangyuan" (first place scholar) in the Wan Shou En Ke examination, and was appointed to the Hanlin Academy as a compiler. He eventually rose to the position of Education Commissioner of Hunan.
