He Shaoji

• He Shaoji (1799-1873), courtesy name was Zi Zhen, art name was Dong Zhou, Dongzhou Jushi and Yuan Sou, born in Daozhou Hunan (now Daoxian). He was a poet, painter, and calligrapher of the Qing Dynasty. He passed palace examination “Jinshi” in 1836, later he worked at Shangdong Luoyuan Academy and Changsha Chengnan Academy.

    Tang Qichang (1555-1636), courtesy name was Xuan Zai, art name was Si Bai and Xiangguang Jushi, born in Huating. He wsa talented and had great abilities in poetry, calligraphy and painting.
