Li Hongzhang

  • Li Hongzhang, courtesy name Shaoquan, also known as Li Zhongtang and Li Fuxiang, was from Hefei, Anhui, and was a prominent statesman in the late Qing Dynasty. He held the positions of the Three Teachers of the East Palace, Grand Secretary of the Wenhua Hall, Minister of Beiyang Commerce, and Governor-General of Zhili.
