TANAKA ATSUKO, Japanese artist, one of the main members of the Gutai Art Association, created "electric clothes."She then began to turn them into paintings, and continued to work on the same theme throughout her life. Since then, she has been highly acclaimed both in Japan and abroad. In Japan, her work has been re-evaluated since the 1980s, and in recent years she has attracted even more attention, and is now regarded as a great talent on a par with KUSAMA YAYOI and ONO YOKO.
