SENJU HIROSHI, a Japanese painter based in New York, is globally renowned for his majestic and large-scale works depicting waterfalls and cliffs. His works are characterized by simple compositions combined with traditional Japanese painting techniques. He was the first Asian to receive the Honorary Award in the painting section at the Venice Biennale. His most famous works include "Waterfall" and "Falling Colors", which feature waterfalls as a central motif. His works are exhibited and collected in museums worldwide, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
