  C. PATIN, born in Fontainbleu just
  outside of Paris. He started drawing at a very early age, and
  was always impressed by the 0ld Masters hanging in the Louvres.
  He used to visit the museums and galleries often, admiring the
  works of famous eighteenth and seventeenth century artists. Patin
  is self-taught, many of his paintings are to be found in private
  collections.
