  YAMAKAWA SOJI, born in Fukushima Prefecture Japan, picture story artist. Before the Second World War, he was active as a picture-story show writer. His "Shonen Tiger" became a hit. Shortly after the Second World War, his picture-story show "Shonen King" was published by Shueisha as a picture story and became a big hit. After that, he published many works as an illustrated storyteller.
