    Little is known of JACQUES RIGAUD(1681-1754)'s life and was often confused with his nephew Jean Batiste, who also carved landscapes.Having stayed in England, he has left numerous works featuring landscapes of gardens, castles and harbors, but they are not so much a work of art as a valuable reference to the time.His style is in precise drawings and powerful carvings.
