    TAKAI NOBUYUKI , dyeing artist. After graduating from Tokyo Zokei University with a degree in textile design, he studied under Takeshi Yamauchi (a pupil of the late Keisuke Serizawa, a living national treasure). 1984, he established his own studio. He was an associate member of the Crafts Division of the National Painting Association of Japan.

    AUBREY BEARDSLEY(1872-1898) , one of the central artists of aestheticism and an important figure positioned as one of the founders of Art Nouveau.

    WATANBE SHUNMEI (1937-2005) , born 1937 in Shizuoka, Japan, won the Art Grand Prize at the Hamamatsu Art Festival in 1972.

    OKANO HIROSHI(b.1949), painter born in Hiroshima. He graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting, and the French National School of Decorative Arts, Department of Mural Painting. 1978 he had his first solo exhibition at Taimei Gallery, and since 2000 he has had solo exhibitions mainly at Yanagi Gallery.
