  作者介紹：龐左玉，又名昭，別署瑤草廬主。浙江吳興人。1934年，畢業於上海美術專科學校，早年從鄭曼青學習花卉，由學徐渭、陳淳入手，繼而得洪伯義及伯父、著名收藏家龐萊臣的指導，臨摹了大量古畫，吸取了惲壽平、華嵒的設色與寫生技法，所作花卉草蟲，筆致秀雅，色澤妍麗。
