Huang Zunxian

  • Huang Zunxian was a minister of the Qing Dynasty, as well as a patriotic poet, diplomat, thinker, politician, reformer, educator, literary scholar, historian, and folklorist. He is regarded as one of the “Eight Sages of Meizhou.” His courtesy name was Gongdu, and his alternative sobriquet was Renjinglu Zhuren. He was a native of Jiaying Prefecture in Guangdong (present-day Meizhou City, Guangdong Province).
