Xu Nailin

Xu Nailin, whose courtesy name was Jingyi and art name was Qiyuan, was a native of Yongji. He was a politician and poet in the late Qing and early Republican periods, and one of the “Three Talents of Jilin.” He served as Civil Affairs Commissioner of Heilongjiang, Governor of Jilin, and Adviser to the Provisional President. In his later years, he refused to accept any position in the puppet state of Manchukuo.
