Zhou Xuejian

  • Zhang Ruitu, whose courtesy names were Changgong and Wuhua, and art name was Ershui, placed third in the imperial examination (as Tanhua) in the 35th year of the Wanli era (1607). He was appointed as a Compiler in the Hanlin Academy. He is recognized as one of the four great calligraphers of the Ming dynasty.
