Guo Zuehu

Guo Xuehu, whose original name was Guo Jinhua, was born in Datong District, Taipei City. He was a Taiwanese painter during the period of Japanese rule and is considered one of the most representative and influential modern artists in Taiwan. He was also a pioneer of Taiwan’s gouache painting. Alongside Chen Jin and Lin Yushan, he was known as one of the "Three Young Masters of the Taiwan Art Exhibition." After World War II, he was one of the main founders and initiators of the Taiwan Provincial Art Exhibition.
