Oka Buntou

• A Japanese painter. Born in Kyoto. His real name was Tōzō. He studied under Yamamoto Shunkyo and learned the Shijō school style. After graduating from the Kyoto City School of Arts and Crafts, he won awards at exhibitions such as the Kyōga Kyōshinkai (Painting Advancement Association). He was also selected multiple times for the Bunten (Ministry of Education Art Exhibition).
