Zhai Yunsheng

Zhai Yunsheng, styled Shuntang and known by the pseudonym Wenquan, was a calligrapher of the Qing dynasty from Yecheng (present-day Laizhou, Shandong Province). He passed the provincial examination in the 5th year of the Jiaqing reign (1800) and obtained the jinshi degree in the 2nd year of the Daoguang reign (1822). Renowned for his calligraphy, he devoted his life to the mastery of clerical script (lishu).
