JIA JUANLI

• JIA JUANLI, a Chinese painter, was born in Guiyang, Guizhou Province, and her ancestral home is in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. She graduated from the Oil Painting Department of Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in 1986. In 1991, she completed a study program at the Central Academy of Fine Arts. In 1996, she was invited by the French government to further her studies at the Aix-Provence Art Academy in France. In 1998, she became a member of the French Artists Association and has since lived in Paris, where she focuses on oil painting and artistic creation.
