Duzhan

• Du Zhan Xingying was a Zen monk of the Huangbo school of the Linji sect at the end of the Ming Dynasty. He traveled east with his master, Ingen, to Japan and helped establish the sect there. He later became the fourth abbot of the Manpuku-ji Temple on Mount Obaku in Kyoto.
