Zhang Dawei

• Zhang Dawei, from Jiangyin, Jiangsu, was admitted to the teacher training program at the Shanghai Chinese Painting Academy in 1962, where he studied under masters such as Lu Yanshao, Zhang Shoucheng, and Tang Yifang. In calligraphy, he learned from Hu Wensui and Wang Gebi. He has held positions as an art researcher at the Shanghai Normal University Teaching and Research Department and as a professor at the Shanghai Art Education Institute.
