• CHARLES-EMILE JACQUE, a French painter, is known for his work as an animal painter and printmaker. He is famous for his depictions of sheep and farm landscapes. As a member of the Barbizon School, he moved to the village of Barbizon along with JEAN-FRANÇOIS MILLET.
