Chen Zengshou

  • Chen Zengshou was an official and a poet of the Qing Dynasty, courtesy name was Ren Xian, art name was Nai Ji. In 1903, he passed palace examination “Jinshi”. He learned calligraphy from Su Shi (art name: Dongpo), and learned painting from art works of Song and Yuan dynasties. He was a rising master of modern Song poetry, and he was as famous as Chen Sanli and Chen Yan, and he was called Sanchen in China at the time.
