Hu Tingfu

• Hu Tingfu (胡廷黼) was a successful candidate in the imperial examination during the Jiajing period and the grandfather of Hu Yingtai. He held various positions, starting as a principal official in the Ministry of Revenue, then transferring to the Ministry of Works as a Deputy Minister. He later advanced to the position of Director of the Capital Waterworks and ultimately served as the Prefect of Nanyong.
