Shen Caoting

• Wu Ding (吳鼎), courtesy name Zunyi (尊彜), was from Jinkui. He became a successful candidate in the imperial examination in the ninth year of the Qianlong era and was appointed to the position of Siyi (司業). He was later promoted to the position of Shijiang Xueshi (侍講學士) at the Hanlin Academy and subsequently transferred to the role of Shiduxueshi (侍讀學士).
