Luo Qilan

• Luo Qilan (駱綺蘭) was a female poet from the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. Her courtesy name was Peixiang (佩香), and her art name was Qiu Ting (秋亭). She was from Shangyuan (present-day Nanjing) and was a disciple of poets Yuan Mei and Wang Wenzhi. She particularly enjoyed painting orchids, using them to express feelings of solitude and purity.
