Wu Cangan

Wu Han, from Anji, Zhejiang Province, was styled Ziru and had the pen name Cangkan (also written as Cangkang). He was the second son of Wu Changshuo and a graduate of the late Qing Dynasty examination system. From a young age, he inherited his family's scholarly traditions and was well-versed in classical texts, poetry, calligraphy, painting, and seal carving.
