Wen Xiang

• Wenxiang was from Shenyang and belonged to the Guarjia clan, specifically from the Zhenghong Manchu banner. His courtesy name was Bochuan, and his hao (pen name) was Zishan. He is known as a promoter of the Self-Strengthening Movement, striving to modernize and introduce Western technology during the Qing dynasty. His efforts had a significant impact on the reforms of that era.
