Gao Chenyang

• Gao Chenyang (1942-2023), formerly known as Gao Xiuyu (高岫玉), was a native of Shanxi. Gao Chenyang graduated from the Department of Chinese Painting of the Central Academy of Fine Arts in 1967 and was a professional painter and senior artist in the Landscape Painting Studio of the Beijing Art Academy. He was a professional painter and senior artist in the Landscape Painting Studio of the Beijing Academy of Painting. His works were selected for the National Art Exhibition.

    Yan Di (1920-1979), a native of Shandong, joined the Beijing Chinese Painting Academy in 1957, specialising in landscape painting, and has created huge works for the People's Congress Hall, such as Juyongguan and Scenery of Beijing Suburbs. His works have been exhibited in Japan, France, Canada and Macau. He was a member of the China Art Association and a director of the Chinese Painting Research Association.
