Sheng Aiyí

Sheng Aiyi was from Wujin County, Jiangsu Province, and the seventh daughter of Sheng Xuanhuai, the wealthiest capitalist in Shanghai. She studied at St. John's University in Shanghai, was fluent in English, skilled in painting and embroidery, and known for her elegant handwriting. Sheng also made history by winning the first women's rights lawsuit in China.
