  • Ou Haonian

    Ou Haonian, a painter of the Lingnan School, is considered the leading figure in Taiwan's contemporary art scene. At the age of 17, he became a disciple of the renowned Lingnan School master Zhao Shao'ang, dedicating himself to intensive study and mastering the craft to become a distinguished artist in his own right.   • Wu Zuoren

    Wu Zuoren (吳作人), originally from Jing County, Anhui, and born in Suzhou, Jiangsu, was a highly accomplished Chinese artist, skilled in both oil painting and traditional Chinese painting. In 1960, he became a professor at the Central Academy of Fine Arts and was appointed the first academic dean. Later, he served as the vice president, president, and eventually the honorary president of the academy. Wu Zuoren made significant contributions to the development of Chinese art education, and many prominent artists, including Wang Mingming, Chen Yuxian, and Liu Dawei, sought his guidance.
