  • Qian Songyan

    Qian Songyan, born in Yixing, Jiangsu. Contemporary artist. In his early years, he strongly influenced by Shi Tao. He uses bone structure method that illustrates the object well with solid lines and paints colorfully. In 1950s, he had an excellent skill but could not exceed Shi Tao and Shen Zhou. After he visited his mother country’s famous mountains and rivers when he became 60-year-old, he built his own painting style. His masterpiece landscape painting had made an impact to the world by its innovative depiction.
