      Jiang Tingxi (1669–1732), courtesy names Youjun and Yangsun, with pseudonyms Nansha, Xigu, and Qingtong Jushi, was born in Changshu, Jiangsu Province. He was a government official and painter during the Qing Dynasty, serving during the reigns of the Kangxi and Yongzheng emperors. In 1703, he passed the imperial examination and became a jinshi. Jiang held various official positions, including Minister of Rites (Lìbù Shìláng), Minister of Revenue (Hùbù Shàngshū), Grand Secretary of the Imperial Cabinet (Nèigé Dàxuéshī), and Tutor to the Crown Prince (Tàizǐ Tàifù).
