Zhuxian Fanxian

Zhu Xianfan Xian was a monk of the Linji school during the Yuan Dynasty and a disciple of Gulin Qingmo. He was known by the pseudonym Lai Lai Chan Zi and was from Xiangshan, Mingzhou. He served as the abbot of several temples, including Jingmiao Temple, Jingzhi Temple, Wuliangshou Temple, Nanzan Temple, Zhenru Temple, and Kencho Temple. His school of Zen became known as the "Zhu Xian School" and is one of the twenty-four sects of Japanese Zen. He left behind a collection of recorded sayings and poetry.
