Qi Kun

• Qi Kun, courtesy name Pengxiao, also known by the courtesy name Beiying, was from Qi'an Township, Houguan County. He became a jinshi in the sixth year of the Jiaqing reign (1801), was promoted to the rank of shujishi, and was appointed as a compiler. In the thirteenth year of the Jiaqing reign (1808), he was appointed as the chief envoy for the formal envoy mission to Ryukyu.
