    Xie Yigeng, whose original name was Lisheng and nicknamed Erwu, was from Fuzhou. He once served as the assistant secretary of the Kuomintang Laisheng Provincial Government. Painter of Fuzhou Painting Academy, director of Fuzhou Calligraphy and Seal Engraving Research Association, and librarian of Fujian Provincial Literature and History Research Center.
