SUN JIAPEI

• SUN JIAPEI, Western-style painter, born in Shanghai. He graduated from the Fine Arts Depatment of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and accumulated experience in China. In 1988 he came to Japan and holding regular solo exhibitions in department stores to the present day. His paintings are often landscapes of his native China and Europe with waterfront and canal themes. He paints beautiful and poetic with gentle light and shadows.
