IWATA MASAMI

• IWATA MASAMI, Japanese-style painter from Niigata prefecture, member of the Japan Art Academy. He entered the research course of Japanese-style painting at Tokyo Fine Arts School, and studied under Matsuoka Eikyu, a Japanese-style painter. In 1979 he was awarded the Order of the Sacred Treasure, 3rd class.
