REN ZHENYU

• REN ZHENYU, contemporary artist from Tianjin, China. He paints portraits of historical figures and celebrities such as Mao Zedong, Andy Warhol and Audrey Hepburn in a unique abstract expression using a wide range of colors. He paints in a style more closely to Pop Art than Neorealism, and has been highly regarded and recognised by galleries and collectors throughout China. More recently, he has also gained fame in Europe.
